Capricorn Baby December 23rd-January 20th These are the cool cats of the zodiac.  Being disciplined and focused they usually have a plan, so while they may not talk early, when they do, they’ll go straight to quoting Shakespeare.  They love being teased and teasing and have a wicked sense of humour – it won’t be long before they’re laughing at Mum tripping over the rattle!  How To Handle Them They like order and take on responsibilities early so encourage them to have fun and stay young.  Even heatedly debating around them can make them feel like failures, so keep life happy and calm.   They’re also insecure while being undemanding – a dangerous combination; so no matter how self-contained they seem, give them lashings of love and reassurance.  They also like to feel special and will thrive under any kind of reward system. Pisces Baby Feb 19th- March 20th These timid babies have huge emotional radars and will be profoundly affected by arguments and other family disruptions. Aries Baby March 21st and April 20th Leaders before they’re born! Action and noise are a must and although all babies are sensitive to stress, Aries can handle fiery debates better than most. How To Handle Them These guys are born impatient and until they can communicate, will get wound up. If you think you know what they want, give in – no point in going into battle only to lose 20 minutes later! But when it comes to important things like sleep, routines, sleep, sleep and sleep, be calm, strong and firm. Taurus Baby April 21st - May 20th Comfort and routines are a must. The Taurus baby needs to know where they’re at and will get upset if things change too often.  Give lots of love, consistency and emotional security. They will be most at ease surrounded by family, especially siblings but will soon grow to make special friends. With their heightened physical senses, cuddles will soothe them. How To Handle Them For all their cuddles and love, Taurus babies are stubborn!  But a gentle, soothing voice and a commonsense approach will bring them around. Gemini Baby May 21st-June 21st These chatterboxes hit the ground running and with their great communication skills and humour, will make a mark from day one.  Being the “twins” they’re independent and good at entertaining themselves but mostly they love company and to be at the centre of a big party. They’re not clingy and can even seem emotionally detached, which is all part of their charm! Cancer Baby June 22nd-July 22nd    The Cancer baby is more emotional and clingy to Mum than most.  They’re sensitive and will pick up on the vibe of the household, whether negative or positive - family will always be more important to the Cancer baby than friends.  When they feel secure, they’re lots of fun but no matter how nurturing you are they will be moody and fussy eaters with very long memories!  How To Handle Them With lots of love - tough love won’t work on this sensitive soul!  When the tears come, keep them close, touch and smother them in cuddles; no baby is better suited to being in a sling with Mum all day.  Make them feel secure with their immediate and extended family by ensuring strong bonds are created.  Most importantly keep arguments and dramas to a minimum.  Being a water sign, baths and swimming will encourage that precious smile! Leo Baby July 23rd-August 22nd The creative entertainer of the zodiac is loving, generous and wants to be good but doesn’t always manage it!  Being leaders, getting them to share may be hard and they like making the rules. Virgo Baby August 23rd- September 22nd There’s no denying that the Virgo baby is fussy and a dirty rumper-suite could seriously offend! As they’re perfectionists in the making, they can be a tad particular but apart from that, they’re usually easily pleased.  They’re pretty good at amusing themselves with the simple things of life and with so much going on in that intellectual head they’ll probably be early talkers. How To Handle Them Routines are a must.  A messy day, with no rhyme or reason, is a sure way of upsetting this sensitive earth sign and once you’ve got your routine, don’t change!  As they can be picky eaters, keep meal times simple and stress-free.  Aside from these peculiarities, this tot doesn't require a lot.
